Views of a half dozen bays, the Pacific Ocean, Costa Rica and the Continental Divide of Nicaragua.
Due to the simplicity of owning this land as well as the outstanding views, in the short time that Los Suenos has been on the market (late 10/2011) we have sold 4 lots. These lots, in addition to have great views, are relatively flat and easy to build. There will be a clubhouse behind the homes on the bluff behind the lots, complete with pool, but we will wait until there are people living up here to enjoy it.
Lastly, there are two wells one the property, each providing plenty of water and we are putting in the water lines to each house this summer. Initial roads have been cut to all the lots and beyond to the Mesas and la Cascada. They are all in the process of being improved and bridges built to cross a few streams.
Simply put, it is a gorgeous place to live with beautiful views, guarantees that no one's view will be blocked and gentle breezes to keep this area cool. You will be a believer when you are here!
To those who have never been here before, the sight is stunning. Pacific Ocean views as far as the eye can see, from Costa Rica to the south, to Mahagual beach and beyond. A former cornfield has now become home to the newest phase of El Encanto del Sur, with gently sloping fields that end at the edge of forests and fields.
This area will ultimately become the center of life at El Encanto, as future plans reveal a clubhouse and pool just east of the residential area. As the economy perks up, we have plans additionally for two tennis courts and an exercise center.
Los Suenos has an altitude of approximately 500 feet. To the East is the continental divide–at 1000 feet, still part of El Encanto’s 350 acres. From there you can see Lake Nicaragua on one side and The Pacific Ocean on the other.Always a cool breeze, blowing away the heat from the town below and offering some of the best views and in all of the San Juan area.
The lots at Los Suenos, 28 of them, range from just under a quarter acre to more than half an acre. Those tucked into the forest to the south are known as our Canopy lots with peaceful, forested views that disappear to the Rana Caliente stream below. Easily buildable lotswith a minimum of a half acre of land.
The upper plateau of Los Suenos contains 17 lots with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and beyond. These lots average 1/3 an acre. We have model homes for you to choose from (free to buyers) or you can design your own. All materials must be natural. For roofs this means ceramic tile or palapa. One or two story homes can be built – a height limit of 10 meters is allowed. Please read the CC&R’s for all information.
This is our newest phase and will be the cornerstone for future low impact neighborhoods to the south and east. These have the best views in the area. We don’t make that claim lightly. When you see them, you will agree.
